John has been dubbed the Godfather of sheds having been at the forefront of warehouse and logistics development in both the UK and Europe for the last 30 years.
After qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor and cutting his teeth working for others, John set up Kingspark in the early 90’s. Kingspark quickly became the pre-eminent distribution warehouse developer in the UK and was sold to Prologis in 1998.
John spent 3 years spearheading the successful creation of the Prologis European platform before leaving to concentrate on his private company, Parkridge, which undertook significant retail developments in addition to continuing to pioneer logistics development. Parkridge’s Industrial and warehouse assets were again sold to Prologis in 2007.
A founding shareholder of Mountpark, John is a keen golfer and sports fan.
David is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years of Industry Experience. Starting out with Booker PLC specialising in their retail and industrial portfolios, David went on to work in development consultancy with CBRE then as a retailer client with Kingfisher PLC, before spending the last 17 years working in the commercial property development marketplace. David was a Director of Parkridge Developments and more recently one of the founding Directors and Shareholders of Mountpark Properties in the UK.
David has 3 grown-up children and enjoys playing golf, crashing around his drumkit and watching most sports.
Tom joined Mountpark in February 2017. He is responsible for working on corporate and real estate transactions in the UK and Europe.
Tom began his career at JLL, qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 2014. Whilst working in the National Capital Markets team, Tom provided strategic investment advice on acquisitions and disposals to institutions, developers, private equity and property companies. His experience spans across the industrial, office and retail sectors on a range of lot sizes and mixed use portfolios.
Tom is a keen golfer and skier and enjoys watching all sports.
Wal worked for a number of main contractors from 1986 , both on and off site on a variety of major design and build projects.
At John Sisk and Son, Wal managed the Pre-Construction department for the Northern Region before joining Parkridge in 2004.
Working as a Projects Director on the design and build for distribution/logistics parks, the Peugeot redevelopment in Coventry and land enabling/infrastructure proposals.
From 2010 Wal set up a design and delivery consultancy that included the new Bay Campus for Swansea University and the redevelopment of RAF Uxbridge before joining Mountpark in 2015.
Tom joined Mountpark in 2016 having specialised in the industrial and logistics sector since qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 2013.
Whilst previously working at CBRE in the Industrial Capital Markets team, Tom was responsible for providing strategic acquisition and disposal advice to a wide range of investors, occupiers and developers. During this time Tom was principally focused on the ‘Big Box’ logistics market and worked on a number of complex development funding transactions.
At Mountpark, Tom works within the UK development team, promoting and managing logistics development and investment properties from acquisition through to disposal.
Philip is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years of Industry Experience.Starting out at the Cadogan Estate in Knightsbridge,Philip went on to work in agency with Matthews and Goodman and then has spent the last 17 years working in commercial property development.Originally with Kingspark Developments, Philip was then one of the founding Directors of Parkridge Developments and more recently one of the founding Directors and Shareholders of Mountpark.
Philip has four children and enjoys playing and watching football and cricket.

Roger qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1986 and has more than 20 years’ experience of fund management at what is now Aviva Investors. Roger managed a team with a portfolio of almost £2bn as well as leading the team responsible for the construction procurement of all Aviva Investors property funds. From 2001, Roger had a particular focus on fund creation and development projects and was personally responsible for establishing many of Aviva Investors innovative indirect property investment funds. In 2006 Roger joined Parkridge where he was a main board director working on all key corporate transactions. Roger is a founding director and shareholder of Mountpark and is a keen golfer.
Willie joined the company in 2013 after working as a business recovery FD in a variety of industries including 3PL, aerospace, property development and manufacturing. Prior to this Willie has over twenty years’ experience gained in food manufacturing, apparel, and education materials, holding senior positions in both large family companies and international businesses during which he was involved in the construction of two factories on green field sites, as well as the closure of a few. Despite the odds Willie continues to dream of a decent World Cup performance by Scotland.
Hans qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1999 having started his career in 1988 at what is now Jones Lang LaSalle in Amsterdam. In 1994 Hans joined the Corus Pension Fund and then focused on the warehouse sector joining Prologis at the end of 1997 and moved to Warsaw in 1998 to set-up operations there as Regional Head for Central Europe.
At the end of 2003 Hans, together with his business partner Piotr Michalski, set up Parkridge in Central Europe to carry out warehouse developments. After the Parkridge industrial portfolio was sold to Prologis in 2007 Hans focused on setting up a business centre development portfolio in CE as well as warehouse developments in Ukraine. Hans is now working in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia with Mountpark. In total since 2003 he has been instrumental in creating a land bank of approximately 683 hectares with a development potential of 2.7 million sq m of warehouse space, of which he developed, leased and delivered almost 1.3 million sq m.
Christopher has over 15 years experience in leading finance roles in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing and Real Estate.
Responsibilities included budgeting and cost management, contract negotiations, profitability and cost analysis, tax planning and restructuring, IT implementation and utilisation.
Christopher joined Parkridge Central Europe in 2004 as Chief Financial Officer for the Parkridge Industrial Portfolio which included logistic businesses in Poland, Czech, Slovakia and Hungary. On the disposal of the industrial portfolio he continued in his role for the Parkridge Retail business consisting of the development, commercialisation and asset management of 4 shopping malls and 2 retail parks located in Poland.
Christopher joined Mountpark in 2012.
Piotr is a licensed architect and also holds an MBA degree; he has over twenty years of experience as a project manager of various design and construction activities both in Central Europe and United States.
Piotr has worked in New York as an architect and project manager and on return to Poland in 1992 he worked as a project manager on several projects before joining a French engineering company as a General Manager. In 1998 Piotr joined Prologis as a Project Manager Central Europe responsible for all new construction activities in the region. In 2003 together with Hans van Luijken, Piotr joined Parkridge and after the Parkridge industrial portfolio was sold to Prologis in 2007 Piotr focused on setting up a business centre development portfolio in CE as well as warehouse developments in Ukraine.

Patrycja is a Member of the Polish Chamber of Architects and qualified as an engineer in 1999 at Politechnika Slaska in Gliwice after studding in Gliwice and in Detmold, Germany at Fachhochschule Lippe / Department of Architecture and Interior Design. She started her career in 1997 in Decorum in Katowice as a Designer where she was responsible for conceptual, tender, construction design of interiors and buildings for International Katowice Fair. In 1999 Patrycja joined Echo Investment in Kielce as Design Manager and during this time she was responsible for coordination of the design process for shopping centers and office buildings. In 2004 Patrycja joined Parkridge in Central Europe as Director of Design and Planning and was involved in the design and delivery of 4 shopping malls totaling 130,000 sqm of GLA. Additionally Patrycja completed the design phase for 2 further shopping malls of 80,000 sqm and the concept design for several others shopping malls. In 2012 Patrycja joined the Mountpark team and she is responsible for planning and design
John has been working in Industrial Real Estate for 28 years both in Continental Europe and in Latin America.
In 1992 he was sent to Spain to start up the Spanish branch of UK consultant King Sturge (now JLL), converting it quickly in the leading broker in the Spanish industrial property sector.
In 2001 John joined the American REIT Prologis as Vice President and Country Officer for Spain. Over the following 4 years, the company became a dominant developer of logistics space in Spain, with over 500,000 m2 of modern premises under management. Among other deals, he completed the largest industrial lease ever in Spain: 90,000 m2 leased to Eurofred.
In 2006 John founded his own development business, focussing on Spain and Latin America. He secured a 28 ha deal with the Peruvian Naval Forces, for the development of the first state of the art logistics park in Peru.
As Country Officer at Mountpark for Spain and Portugal, John will deploy his experience and network to become – once again – a major player in the sector, providing the Spanish and Portuguese markets with the most efficient logistics facilities.
John, who has a degree in Real Estate from the University of Barcelona and an MBA from Esade Business School, is fluent in 5 languages and lives in Barcelona, Spain.

Ranald has been active in Industrial Real Estate for over thirty years both in the UK and in Continental Europe.
In 1993 he moved to France working successively in the brokerage, construction and development sectors while specializing in modern generation logistics buildings which were then emerging as a recognized asset class.
In 1998, Ranald joined the American REIT Prologis initially as Vice President for Developments in France but soon assuming a senior management role as Managing Director for Southern Europe, a position that he held for 13 years.
Under his leadership, Prologis became the dominant owner/developer of logistics properties in France, Spain and Italy with over 4 million m² of modern generation space under management generating €157m in NOI and with a capital value of some €2.2 billion.
After the merger with AMB in 2011, Ranald left to found his own consultancy business which advised major institutional clients on all aspects of logistics real estate in markets including France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Russia and Greece.
As Managing Director at Mountpark for Western Europe, Ranald will deploy his long experience and broad network to become a market leader in the development of efficient, environmentally friendly, modern generation logistics facilities.
Ranald, who graduated with honours from Trinity College, Cambridge and who is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, is multi-lingual and lives in France.
Olivier Parizot has over 18 years experience in the logistics industry both within supply chain management and in real estate.
Prior to working for Mountpark, Olivier was a Development Manager for GSE one of the leading construction companies providing design and build services to the logistics industry across Europe and in China and Middle East. Olivier’s responsibilities included key account management but also land sourcing and site assembly for major projects.
Before joining GSE in 2013, Olivier gained valuable experience over 10 years at GEFCO one of France’s leading 3pls specialized in the automotive industry and FCMG.
At Gefco, he worked on major supply chain projects for for various industries (Unilever, Schneider Electric…).
He has a Masters in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Essec as well as Master’s degree from ESCE.
Olivier is bilingual in French and English and lives in Paris with his wife and family.
