Mountpark Acquires Astra Zeneca Site Avonmouth, Bristol.

The site has full planning permission for 1,288,000 sq ft of distribution space in up to four units ranging from 150,000 sq ft to 1 million sq ft. Site preparation works will start immediately with construction due to begin early next year. Buildings could be ready for occupation by the end of 2019.

The new development, which has been designed to achieve BREEAM ‘very good’ certifications and EPC A ratings for each building, has the potential to attract around 1,500 jobs to the local area.

Close to the new M49 junction under construction, the site is also within easy reach of the M4, M5 and M48 motorways. Intermodal facilities are offered by the docks at Avonmouth and Royal Portbury, together with the nearby rail freight terminal.

The site is close to the existing Mountpark Bristol scheme, which has full planning permission for 400,000 sq ft of logistics space and is available on a build-to-suit basis. DTRE London and JLL Bristol are acting for Mountpark.  Stoford is the Development Manager for both Mountpark sites.
